I have a thin walled part and I am seeing the contours on other side of the model during the Exact Surfacing phase. Is there a setting that will help with decrease seeing the other side of a thin walled model?

If you have a thin walled model and are seeing the other side of the model during the Shape phase, try setting the Triangle Offset to a smaller number. Triangle Offset adjusts the level of transparancy of the triangular mesh. A smaller number makes the triangles more opaque or solid.


This setting can be found under App Button>Options>Graphics>OpenGL>Offsets:



For example, on the following model the default Offset is 1.0:



Changing the default to a lower number, for example 0:



Setting the offset to an even lower number (-1.0) makes the contours disappear:
