Geomagic products are shipped with an automated licensing wizard that will download, configure and install a license for you within minutes. Whenever possible, and if your computer has internet access, we recommend using the licensing wizard to configure your system. If you need more information, please consult the user guide that corresponds to your Geomagic product installation.
Studio and Qualify:
Floating License - If installing a floating license server, these files will be required to set up the license server.
USB Dongle - If installing a dongle type of license installation, this driver is required to activate the USB key.
(Note: Install this before plugging in the dongle into the computer!)
In order to move your license server to another machine, please request a Host Transfer from the Geomagic Operations team. Email Ops@geomagic.com or call 1-919-474-0122 opt. 2. Please Note: A fee may be incurred for licenses without a maintenance subscription.
Please be sure to include the following information for your Host Transfer request:
Old Host ID/MAC Address - What is a Host ID and how do I find it?
New Host ID/MAC Address - What is a Host ID and how do I find it?

For computers that are not connected to the internet, customers can request geowatch.dat license files online from the link below and the license file will be sent via email.
