Highlight both of the scans and click on the Polygons>Combine>Merge to create one un-textured object. Name this Object1.
Highlight both of your scans again and click on the Polygons>Combine icon to create one object (Note: you will see the overlapping triangles, but the texture will stay on). Name this Object2.
Focus on Object1 and go to Tools>Colors>Texture Maps>Generate Texture Maps.
Choose Object2 as the texture source and click Apply. Be sure to adjust the texture map size in the command.
1) Take both your scans and use Polygons>Combine>Merge to create one un-textured object. Name this Object1.
2) Take both your scans again and use Polygons>Combine>Combine Polygon Objects to create one object. (note: you will see the overlapping triangles, but the texture will stay on) Name this Object2.
3) Focus on Object1 and go to Tools>Color>Generate Texture. Choose Object2 as the texture source and apply. Be sure to adjust the texture map size in the command.
