What does the "X" error mean in Edit Extensions?

The X (intersection) error can occur after clicking on the Check Problems button in Exact Surfaces>Edit Contours>Edit Extensions.

This error occurs be cause extension lines (black) are crossed over contour lines that will later cause and issue with creating patches and the surface. The picture below shows an example of this problem.

After moving the extension lines, the problem is now fixed.
