[Legacy] My license server will not Reread License File and lmgrd is not running. How do I resolve this?

Note: This article applies to Geomagic versions 2014.0.1 and earlier only.

In LMTOOLS, do you have a path listed for Path to the debug log file under the Config Services tab?

 

 

If not, type:

 

C:\Program Files\Geomagic\Geomagic License Server\log.txt

 

In the field and click Save Service.

 

Try to Start Server and Reread license file again under the Start/Stop/Reread tab. Sometimes, without a log file path, lmgrd can lock up and cause the server not to function.

 

If you still cannot reread the license file, please contact Geomagic Technical Support.
